Pitchford’s explanation of the date change simply focuses on the fact that the development is proceeding smoothly.
However, it’s not out of the question that there’s a little more to the story.
This is a nearly two-week bump up for the game.
This would land it anywhere between September and December.
Most other major franchises and games haven’t yet revealed release dates for later this year.
Another point to consider is the price.
The change in release dates will be a relief for some games coming out but worrisome for others.
