That is why the announcement of a re-release was so exciting, and the day is finally here.
As of August 30, 2024,Twistersis now playing in 4DX againat participating theaters.
This isthe first time that the originalTwisteris playing in 4DX.
Theaters will alternate between showingTwisterandTwistersin specific theaters.
This is likely the last timeTwisterswill ever be shown in 4DX.

It would be unprecedented forTwistersto get a second re-release and third stint in 4DX later this year.
Since that’s not guaranteed, September 5th is the last chance to seeTwistersin 4DX.
The same goes for the rumbling in the seats as the characters drive offroad towards danger.
