Unfortunately for Laverne actor Aloma Wright,Scrubsseason 7 was greenlit.

As a result, the upcomingScrubsrevival also won’t feature Nurse Roberts.

Wright did briefly reprise the role before the show ended, but only in a flashback.

Interestingly, there is actually a much easier way Aloma Wright can return inScrubsseason 10.

So, if Aloma Wright does come back for theScrubsrevival, playing Shirley is her most realistic option.

It may not be ideal, but it’s better than not having the actor involved at all.

Scrubs is a Sitcom and Medical Comedy/Drama created by Bill Lawrence that follows a group of medical students throughout their daily lives at the Sacred Heart Teaching Hospital. The series stars Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, and Donald Faison, as they work their way up from Medical Interns while juggling all sorts of hospital shenanigans.

Wright’s characters are called Laverne and Shirley.

This pairing of names is a reference to the classic sitcom,Laverne & Shirley.

Aloma Wright looking annoyed as Shirley in Scrubs

Within the world ofScrubs, Shirley has no ties to Laverne - familial or otherwise.

The creative casting move is a little bizarre, even for a zany sitcom likeScrubs.

Hopefully, all the main and secondary actors are involved, which would include Aloma Wright playing her obscureScrubscharacter.
