Fukuhara spoke about the finale ofThe Boysat 2024’s D23 panel, expressing her shock at the fact that her character spoke for the first time in the series.She went on to express her love ofGen Vand praised Germann and Phillips' performances, as their characters' actions led to that pivotal moment for Kimiko in season 4.

Gen V is set to return in 2025, and the spinoff show seems to be setting up its own version of The Boys' biggest rivalry, Homelander vs. Butcher.

Season 4’s finale revealed that Sam and Cate had joinedHomlander’s supe army.As The Boys were rounded up during their attempt to escape, Cate used her abilities to make Frenchie (Tomer Capone) forget Kimiko, allowing him to leave unscathed.

This leads to Kimiko’s first spoken lines in the show as she calls out for Frenchie to come back as she is being restrained.The Boys’season 4 ending not only gave audiences this exciting and heartbreaking development but also easily allowed Kimiko to appear inGen Vseason 2, as both series end in similar places.

A spin-off of The Boys, Gen V is based on a story arc from the original comic series set in the TV series universe. Gen V follows a group of college students starting at a Vought International-created school for superheroes, where students compete in increasingly dangerous challenges to win a hero contract in the highest-paying and most coveted city locations. This happens as these young adults try to understand their powers as they grow up and figure out where they fit into society.

How Kimiko Could Appear In Gen V Season 2

Kimiko Could Help The Gen V Group Escape Vought

Kimiko could appear as a new ally to theGen Vprotagonists in season 2, as both groups ended their seasons in captivity, allowing them to meet and possibly break out together.Gen V’s season 1 endingshowcasedMarie (Jaz Sinclair) and her friends trapped inside a doorless room, with the implication that they were captured by Vought after the season’s events.If this is true, then Kimiko could make a cameo in season 2, as the captured members of The Boys could be held in the same facility.

From there, Kimiko could ask Marie and her friends to help and act as a surprise weapon against Homelander’s supe army, allowingThe BoysandGen Vto collide in a true superhero standoff.

The two groups could find a way to communicate with each other, with Kimiko being the go-between due to her own abilities.

She could find that Marie and her friends are much like The Boys in their anger at Homelander, allowing the two groups to combine forces to break out of the Vought facility.
