Ever since the initialSonic the Hedgehogmovie in 2020,Carrey has been instrumental in creating the Sonic cinematic universe.
It is all but impossible to uphold Shadow’s origins without the presence of Gerald or Dr. Robotnik.
Admittedly, Carrey was not necessarily required to portray Gerald following his lead as Dr. Robotnik.
In the game,Gerald assisted with Project Shadow because he believed it could uncover the secret to immortality.
That being said,Dr.
Gerald spends his time plotting revenge against humanity.
Jim Carrey has proven himself to be one of the most excellent portrayals in video game adaptions.
