Reacheris an anthology series, so each season introduces a new storyline and supporting cast.
His sense of humor, glib attitude, and buddy-cop dynamic with Reacher was refreshing.
Somehow, ODonnell is also the most personable character in the series.
He has a wife and family that he loves and takes care of.
That way, his former teammate and friend could help Reacher without putting himself in any danger.
Still, that is so much better than not seeing him again ever.
