The surreal short is heavily indebted toEraserhead, from its black-and-white visuals to its plot.
Specifically, the short film spoofs the segment of Lynchs movie where Henry meets his girlfriends parents for dinner.
Kirk even says it took him 5 years to make.
However, for anyone familiar with Lynchs labor of love, the parallels withEraserheadare immediately obvious.
