ScreenRant: I love Marilyn as a character.

I feel like she gets results.

Jennifer Irwin: You’re the first person who said they like her.

I like her too.

She’s a woman who gets stuff done.

Sometimes you need people like that.

Grosse Pointe Garden Society follows four suburban garden club members—Birdie, Alice, Brett, and Catherine—as they navigate entangled lives marked by murder and mischief while striving to bring vibrancy to their conventional existence.

She’s not so worried about what people think of her.

She’s not there to make friends.

Will she ever find out that the club wanted to impeach her?

I love that scene.

But she’s made mistakes.

And she does help them win in the end.

She’s the one who goes into the office to point out what’s going on.

She’ll do whatever she has to do.

She’s hell-bent on not letting Bloomfield Hills and Teddy win the cup again.

Grosse Pointe Garden Society

So yeah, she’s all in.

She’s one of those people that has a singular focus and will do anything to achieve that goal.

Your former castmate, Wendi McLendon-Covey, is onSt.

Denis Medical, and you’re onGrosse Pointe Garden Society.

They’re both NBC shows…could you have an NBC reunion?

Jennifer Irwin: A crossover!

I would love to see that happen.

Are there any guest stars from previous shows you’d like to have onGrosse Pointe?

Jennifer Irwin: We have such a large cast.

I really want to get to know these characters a little more.

I’m interested in the characters in the show right now.

Jennifer Irwin: I think, secretly, she would love to be part of that group.

I think she probably doesn’t have a lot of friends.

I think she probably isolated herself and turned people off a little bit in her life.

She doesn’t have great social graces.
