Having seen the Lion King musical, I need this year’sMufasamovie to include one of the best songs.
Secondly, the movie is a musical and will feature brand-new songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
The songs will undoubtedly resonate with audiences.

After its release on the 1995 album, the song was integrated into the franchise.
Most other songs only appear in one to two shows.
They selected He Lives in You over options like Hakuna Matata or Circle of Life.
The song also appears on the compilation albumThe Lion King Collection.
I would be unbelievably sad not to hear the song inMufasa: The Lion King.
Without it, the movie would seem incomplete.
It’s later performed again when Rafiki helps him connect with the spirit of his father.
The context in both of these scenes makes the music and lyrics more impactful.
The live-actionLion Kingmovie would have been better off mirroring the musical.
The only upside to their failure is the fact thatMufasa: The Lion Kingcan fixthe issue.
This version of the song isnt about Mufasa living in Simba.
The song serves as a reminder that Simba will never be alone, no matter what.
The only difference would be that Mufasa hears They Live in You instead of Simba.
Theres no guarantee the Mufasa movie will include this scene; however, its possible based on the premise.
Since the sequel is more accessible,Mufasa: The Lion KingmirroringThe Lion King IIwould be more advantageous.
However, either option would feel like a fitting homage to less well-known parts of the franchise.
