Polly Brindle: Not even the same universe it’s not even the same universe!
Not at all, very out of our comfort zone.
Gio Helou: To say the least.
Screen Rant: What were you expecting when you stepped intoBattle Camp?

We just knew that it was going to be very intense.
And yeah, I kind of walked in ready for anything.
Honestly, I was prepared for anything.
Gio: I feel like that’s your daily attitude.
Polly: Yeah, but it definitely did push me to my absolute limits.
I, you know, nearly kind of crumbled a couple of times.
Gio: Yeah, it’s the complete opposite of my comfy bubble here.
So, it was truly grueling, and I mean that in the most fun way possible.
Like I was like, I don’t know, I was just very emaciated.
Polly: You lost a ton of weight.
Gio: They took great care of us, but it was just such an intense competitive environment.
Polly: Yeah, and our job, it is so competitive.
I’m just going to be myself and hope for the best.
I definitely, you know, was out of my comfort zone.
So my thought process was be yourself, don’t be a target.
I’m quite athletic, I’m very competitive, and I am really good in social situations.
I’m kind of a social butterfly.
And it actually did.
Screen Rant: You had quite the even strength, yeah.
Gio, so when you saw Polly come in, were you excited?
How did you feel?
Gio: I was elated.
Polly: Which was helpful.
Screen Rant:Gio, your elimination was really rough.
Can you take me through how it felt to see your name on that wheel?
Gio: That was, oh my gosh, that was not expected.
My entire world collapsed.
Polly: There were 16 slots on there you were on there once and it hit.
Honestly, it’s so wild.
I hit the floor, like disappeared underneath me.
I felt such like genuine devastation that you were going home.
I don’t care that you’re on a different team or whatever.
I lost a family member in that moment.
And I was devastated, I ugly cried so hard.
Screen Rant: I’m so glad to see you guys back together now!
I hope to see you both on something likeBattle Campagain in the future.
Gio: Yes, yes.
Polly: [laughs] Nope!
I’m never doing it again, nope.
[laughs] We’re back in our comfort zone, we’re good here.
