This leads to two of the most hilarious and self-aware responses.
In all fairness to Lily, it sounds like a made-up name.
However, its even funnier that she laughs at him, considering her name is Lily Blossom Bloom.

As such, it’s unclear whether Reynolds or Hall came up with the lines in question.

Ultimately, it felt validating to see the characters inIt Ends With Usmaking fun of each others names.
Realistically, the signs were there, which is why Baldonis execution of such tricky and sensitive circumstances work.
Its unfortunate how I could then walk away from the film wanting more from the narrative.
Its certainly lacking, but hearts were in the right place.
