This is a brilliant way to symbolize all the pesky baggage that comes along with anxiety.
Throughout the entire movie, Ennui had been very stoic and inexpressive, barely lifting a finger.
Therefore, people with an overactive imagination are more likely to suffer from it.
Inside Out 2 is the sequel to the 2015 original film, which starred a young girl named Riley with a head full of emotions. - literally. With Amy Pohler as Joy, Bill Hader as fear, Mindy Kaling as Disgust, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, and Lewis Black as Anger, the all-star cast brought to life the emotions that adolescents face as they grow, change, and adapt to new situations. This sequel, currently in development, will bring Amy Pohler back as Joy, with Riley, now a teenager.
InInside Out 2, Anxiety uses that imagination against her.
Watching Anxiety’s scenes is enough to put viewers on edge alongside Riley.
InToy Story 3, its when the toys are about to be incinerated.
InMonsters, Inc., its when Mr. Waternoose captures Boo and banishes Mike and Sulley to the Himalayas.
And inInside Out 2, its when Anxiety and the new emotions replaceRileys Sense of Self.
She starts hyperventilating and experiencing chest pains.
In her mind, this panic attack manifests itself as an uncontrollable whirlwind at the console.
Anxiety is the films antagonist, but shes not bad; shes just woefully misguided.
When Nostalgia comes out into Headquarters, Anxiety tells her it’s not her time yet.
Hopefully, Nostalgia is being set up for a bigger role inInside Out 3.
But during the movies climax, she realizes the positive role that Sadness can play in Rileys emotional state.
All throughout the second film, Joy wants to regain control of Rileys emotions from Anxiety.
Its another touching development for Joy.
This is a great gag because its relatable.
