Frankly, I think that’s a great thing.
The originalFabledidn’t feature any character customization, or the ability to pick a specific gender.
LaterFableentries did allow players to pick a gender, but again lacked any meaningful character customization options.
If players increased their stats, their character would changeaccordingly.
The newFableshould also feature a similar approach to character customization while retaining its pre-defined hero.
Other critically acclaimed RPGs have focused on a singular protagonist, such as the incredibleHorizon Zero DawnorGhost of Tsushima.
