In 2022, the horror comedy series,Wednesday, took Netflix (and me) by storm.

Starring Jenna Ortega, the show tells the story ofThe Addams Family’sspooky daughter, Wednesday Addams.

After being expelled from yet another school,Wednesday is sent to a magical boarding school called Nevermore Academy.

While there, Wednesday becomes obsessed with solving a series of mysteries plaguing the campus and surrounding town.

At theend ofWednesdayseason 1, Marilyn Thornhill has been defeated and Wednesday is heading home for a school break.

This shocking final scene sets audiences up for the mystery that will surroundWednesdayseason 2.

Netflix’s Addams Family series takes place at Nevermore Academy, a school that nurtures outcasts, freaks, and monsters. The Tim Burton-directed series follows Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) as she tries to master her emerging psychic powers and solve the supernatural mystery surrounding her family history.

Though this may sound impossible, I think there is some weight to the theory.

However, after confessing,Thornhill sticks Weems with poison, leading to her death.

Thus, she may just be Wednesday’s stalker.

The theory could occur in a number of different ways.

Therefore, only one question remains: why would Weems be stalking Wednesday?

This is the part of the theory that is the most mysterious.

Some may be suspicious that Weems isn’t actually Weems, but another shapeshifter.

ThroughoutWednesdayseason 1, audiences saw Weems use her powers, but not really to the fullest extent.

Now, though, we could really dive into Weems' abilities and how far they go.

Even if Weems isn’t the stalker, having a shapeshifter stalker would makeWednesdayseason 2even more fun.

If they never show their true face, then no one will know who they are.

This adds a whole new level of mystery that a regular stalker simply wouldn’t have.

A shapeshifter stalker makes Wednesday’s job even harder.

Despite all this,Wednesdaykilled Weems off without much fanfare, and I simply can’t understand why.

Personally, I think Weems' death had to be a fake-out.

Additionally, her connections to Morticia and Gomez Addams give her yet another reason to be a recurring character.

This would be such an interesting twist on an already mysterious storyline.

Plus, it would giveWednesday’saudiences more shapeshifter content that they would be missing without Weems around.

I need to know more about shapeshifters' abilities and just how powerful they are.

Perhapsthis new shapeshifter could be a student at Nevermore or a relation of Principal Weems.

It seems likely that they would be a character we haven’t met before.

On the other hand, there are a few characters fromWednesdayseason 1 who could be the stalkeras well.

Of course, it could also somehow be Marilyn Thornhill refusing to be subdued.

In reality, it could be anyone at Nevermore, from Bianca to Enid.
