Lance Henriksens Charles Weyland was replaced by Guy Pearces Peter Weyland.
Like so many moments inPrometheus, this scene looks great and explains almost nothing.

In an experimental short film, it would be a bold, striking image for viewers to ruminate on.

Instead of clarifying things, Scotts prequel only made the franchises backstory more complicated and necessitated further spinoffs.
