Karl Urban will play Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat 2, and he was absolutely the perfect choice.
However,Shang Tsung’s role in 2021’sMortal Kombatwas incredibly disappointing, especially when compared to the 1995 movie.
This is the opposite in 2021’sMortal Kombat, as Shang Tsung has almost nothing to do.
In the film, Liu Kang is a supporting character rather than one of the main protagonists.
Firstly,Mortal Kombat 2needs to feature an actual Mortal Kombat tournament.
On top of that,Mortal Kombat 2needs to find a way to make Shang Tsung less generic.
