Warning: This article contains spoilers forAlien: Romulus.

But the most blatant piece of fan service was the inclusion of the last actor I thought Id see.

Of all theAlienactors that I thought might appear inAlien: Romulus, Ian Holm didnt seem very probable.

Holms android character Ash was torn to shreds in the originalAlien, and Holm passed away in 2020.

It can be really distracting when a PS2 cutscene version of an iconic character graces the silver screen.

Alien: Romulus is the seventh film in the Alien franchise. The movie is directed by Fede Álvarez and will focus on a new young group of characters who come face to face with the terrifying Xenomorphs. Ian Holm passed away at age 88 on June 19, 2020.
