Overall,Cavill’s Sherlock is a lovable and impressive character.
In this way,Enola Holmescould matchSuperman,at least in quantity.
Though both men are powerful in their own right, they play different parts in their franchises.
Superman is the leader of his franchise, even when he is part of an ensemble cast.
Meanwhile, Sherlock is more of a supporting character, at least in theEnola Holmesuniverse.
In this way,Supermanwill likely always be a major part of Henry Cavill’s career.
Robert Downey Jr.’s Sherlock is quite eccentric and strange, despite his affinity for small details.
Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock is similar.
Cavill’s Sherlock is not like this.
Instead, Cavill portrays Sherlock as a fairly straight-laced character who is on top of his work.
Furthermore, Cavill’s Sherlock is much more heartwarming.
This makes him a lot more likable, and easier to root for.
Yet, Cavill doesn’t lose the essence of Sherlock, either.
He is smooth, intelligent, and an invaluable individual when it comes to solving crimes.
