In that film, Myers is down, and Laurie Strode thinks she is safe.
Luckily, Laurie was ready to keep fighting and found other ways to take it to the Boogeyman.

This, at least, remembered them.

Michael Myers always dies at the end of any Halloween movie and manages to survive.
However, some endings are better and have a bigger impact.
