Nicole Perlman, David Chasteen, and Peter Jankowski are also executive producers.
The project hails from Universal Television in association with Wolf Entertainment and CBS Studios.
The story centers on two unlikely partners.
The other, meanwhile, is a veteran FBI agent who trusts the rule of law.
However, the franchise is far from over.
Hudgins has served as showrunner onFBI: Most Wanted, in addition to working on dramas likeParenthoodandFriday Night Lights.
FBI is a procedural drama that explores the workings of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s New York office as dedicated agents tackle high-stakes cases involving terrorism, organized crime, and various formidable threats.
He’ll again be in the showrunner role forCIA, which should benefit from the addition of Ellis.
He is best known to many for playing the titular Lucifer Morningstar onLuciferfor six seasons.
