The knowledge thatWicked 2is confirmedand will build onWicked’s cliffhanger endingmakes the movie more closely resemble other major franchises.
WithWicked 2fitting that mold, it would not have been too surprising ifWickedincluded an after-credits scene.
It would have been difficult for the movie to include one that wouldn’t feel unnecessary to some degree.
Perhaps the only option for aWickedend-credits scene that would have made sense is if it was the firstWicked 2trailer.
However, the timing of it may have negatively impacted the film or the sequel’s trailer.
It’s ultimately much better forWickedandWicked 2that there was not a post-credits scene here.
