Unfortunately,Pirates 6is not guaranteed the same box office success as its predecessors.
However, the franchise may need to make some major changes to achieve its previous highs.
It was a simple, straightforward, swashbuckling story, and that’s what made it great.
The characters were memorable, the action was top-notch, and it embraced fun first and foremost.
Unsurprisingly, as the studio ratcheted up the production value, the story and the characters suffered.
Cutting back on the CGI budget is also a great play for a rebooted series of movies.
