One theory creates some exciting storylines for theDark Matterseason 2 castas the saga continues.
This version of Chicago isn’t actually in the future.
Instead, the reality in which it exists has developed differently to give that illusion.
There’s currently very little information on how and when the story will pick up.
With so many options and such a variety of potential errors, this is a very real possibility.
That being said, the Futuristic Chicago makes the most sense from a narrative perspective.

Both of these characters encountering Jason Dessen again could make for some thoroughly enrapturing storylines.
Amanda’s reunion with Jason could be similarly uncomfortable but for different reasons.
