Although this is disappointing in many ways, it could make Cheong-sans story better.
BothCheong-san and Gwi-nam fell from the building as it was bombarded.
While the webtoon doesn’t show Cheong-san’s death, he stays behind while On-jo and the others escape.
It would be very anticlimactic if Cheong-san was back so soon after choosing to die for his friends.
No character was safe, and we had to say goodbye to a lot of great ones.
