Shortly after acquiring 20th Century Fox in 2019, Disney announced plans to create a new installment intheAlienmovie franchise.
The announcement came in 2020, along with news thatFargo’s Noah Hawley will act as showrunner.
One, however, is more promising than the other.
The camera closes in on the cages as the monsters writhe and jump in silhouette.
Finally,a Xenomorph climbs over the cages before leaping at the camera.
The teaser ends with an exterior shot of a ship beginning to crash through Earth’s atmosphere.

The teaser ends with the computer sounding an alarm about the unknown species before the Weyland-Yutani logo appears on-screen.
Now,the series is gunning for a summer 2025 release window, though specifics are still under wraps.
With so much still unknown about the show, it could be that creative tinkering is still happening behind-the-scenes.

Also,Foundationstar Sandra Yi Sencindiver has been cast as an unnamed higher-up at the Weyland-Yutani Corporation.
Throughout all theAlienmovies,the Weyland-Yutani Corporationhas been a consistent antagonist almost as bad as Xenomorphs.
The teaser closes with a title card that reveals the show will arrive in 2025.
FX revealed a second teaser in November 2024 which clarified more of whereAlien: Earthfits in the franchise timeline.
Though the teaser gives away little, it more firmly places the upcoming show in the largerAlienuniverse.

A third teasertrailerforAlien: Eartharrived in January 2025, and it explains the key impetus for the series.
While many details aren’t known, the teaser explains how the monsters make it to Earth.
