Prometheus' relationship with theAliensagais somewhat complicated.

Now this impact has lessened, the movie’s weaknesses seem much more prominent.
Nothing about this set-up neededAliento deliver a compelling story.
In the end, it proved an impossible balancing act.
This all changed with later installments.
This development, which completely undermines the terrifying implications ofAlien, would not have been possible withoutPrometheus' revelations.
