However, they are all fairly slight. As a show,Moana 2would have likely stretched out the journey across the sea to fit multiple episodes. It moves quicker as a movie, and the story benefits from that. This is a shame, as she feels slightly underdeveloped as a result. Nalo comes close to killing the heroes multiple times and even succeeds (briefly) in taking down Moana. His fewer appearances in the film’s plot makes those moments all the more impactful....

Once his experiments went out of control, the Jonas virus became the inception of the zombie apocalypse. However, the virus would soon mutate and lead to a new class of zombies, the hambies. Hambies partially retain their consciousness and memories but have all the desires of regular zombies. Shortly after her encounter with Gwi-nam, Nam-ra started showing signs of infection but never fully transformed. The other way someone can become a hambie is more complicated....

However, considering howBeetlejuiceended, there is another (potentially better) way for the film to start. His freedom from the waiting room could have coincided with Lydia’s plea for help. Yet, this gag never reached its full potential, and was essentially forgotten. Therefore,Beetlejuice Beetlejuicecould have lined up its timeline with that ofBeetlejuice,but chose not to. The entire end ofBeetlejuiceseems to be forgotten. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is the sequel to the original Tim Burton classic that starred Michael Keaton and Wynona Rider in a horror-comedy that involved ghosts trying to scare off new homebuyers from taking their house....

Bob and his friends are the clearest homage to the 1988 waiting room, resembling the comic shrunken-head guy. The character stands out among an already strange group, demonstrating how goodBeetlejuices practical effectsare. The latter seems unsettlingly real, showcasing an advancement in effects. Outside the waiting room,Danny DeVitos janitor inBeetlejuice 2references the originals otherworldly janitor. Inside the waiting room, the directorfeatures deaths similar to the originals, however, with double the gore....

The story’s premise allows for even further exploration of one tweak in particular. According toScreen, Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly are returning to theDark Matterseason 2 cast. Oddly,gimmicky universes aren’t all that common in theDark Matternovel, as most are relatively similar. Hopefully,Dark Matterseason 2 will make full use of its potential in this regard. All the original gimmicky universes in Apple TV+’s version of the story were pretty scary. Similarly, the Flooded Universe didn’t exactly scream optimism....
